What actions can I perform on an order?

The order actions menu allows you to run certain processes quickly without having to leave the order page.

 


Email invoice to customer will email an invoice for this order to the customer’s email listed in the Customer information section.



Dispatch order will set the order status to Dispatched and inform the customer of this change. This should usually be done after payment has been received from the customer, however, this is not mandatory and an order can be dispatched before hand. A popup box will ask you to select a courier and tracking number if applicable.


Copy Order will copy the order you are viewing in full to a new order. The new order can then be progressed and paid for as it's own new entity. This is useful for actioning a repeat of an order a customer may have made previously.

Add discount will open a pop up that allows you to manually add an existing voucher code or a custom discount to an order. Simply type in the code, or custom discount amount and click Apply. This will apply the discount to the order.

Change delivery date will allow you to select a different day for delivery.


The "Copy link to basket" feature enables you to share a link to an order that has not been finalised. When the recipient clicks on the link, it will take them directly to the order basket on your website, ready for checkout. By clicking "Copy link to basket," the link is saved to your clipboard for easy pasting wherever you need it.

Open basket in shop quickly opens up a link to view an uncommitted order in the basket stage.
