Give your most important products the attention they deserve when customers search and browse categories and groups. With search pinning, you have the power to determine the priority of products that your customers see first.
1. Navigate to the Marketing plugin. You can access this in the main menu of the Admin System.
2. Click on Merchandising.
3. Click on Search.
4. Add a new Rule.
5. Select the Rule Type from the dropdown. You can customise your search/products page on Groups, Categories and by Keywords.
6. Select the Group, Category or in this case, Keyword and click Save in the top right.
Be sure to also make sure that the Rule is Active too.
7. You will see a live preview that mirrors exactly how your site will display the changes made.
8. You have the option to add actions that give you the ability to reposition or hide any product, even if it is not originally part of the Category/Group/Search page you are currently viewing. Simply click on Create Action to proceed.
You also have the option to hover over the products and discover a convenient shortcut that lets you easily PIN or hide products.
9. If you are satisfied with the changes, simply click on the Save button located at the top right corner of the page.
