Setup and manage your abandoned cart flows and settings
- Navigate to the Marketing plugin. You can access this in the main menu of the Admin System.
- Click on Email.
- Click on Abandoned Carts.
- Click on Flows.
- You will be able to configure up to 3 steps. Click on Configure Step to get started.
- Make sure the step is enabled by clicking the Enable Step checkbox.
- Specify the time duration after the cart is abandoned for the initial step, and the time elapsed since the last step for all subsequent steps to trigger the email to be sent to the customer.
- Add an Email Subject.
- Enable a discount to incentivise your customers to convert their abandoned carts. To set up an autogenerated unique code for each customer, enable a discount via the checkbox below and then add the discount code variable to your email design. (Optional)
- Set the expiration time and the discount value.
- Once all this information is complete, make sure you click Save at the top right of the step settings area.
- Click on Email Designer to open the email editor.
- Access the default template provided in the Email Designer, which is designed to be user-friendly and easily customisable. Simply double-click on the text blocks or images to replace the content with your own.
Please note: Ensure that the items table remains unchanged, as the system will automatically include the order items when the email is sent.
- If your email setup includes a Discount, please ensure to include the Discount Block by simply dragging and dropping it onto your design.
- Save your changes.
- To add an additional step, click on + Add Next Step and repeat the instructions above.
- Once you are happy with your steps, complete the fields on the right hand side of the page and check the Enable Abandoned Cart Emails. Lastly, click Save to start sending Abandoned Cart emails to your customers.
