Allowing customers to add options to your products provides them with the flexibility to customise their purchase without the hassle of navigating away from the product page.
Creating Product Options
To add an option (sometimes referred to as a variant) to a product, when editing or creating a product scroll down until you see the heading: Describe this product and its options.
From here, enter a label for your options e.g. Size.
Once you have typed in your label name, click in the middle box and begin typing your first option. Once you have typed the option name, use the comma or tab key on your keyboard to confirm it and repeat the process until all your options are present.
If necessary, scroll down beneath the options you have just created to edit each individual variants price, stock, and weight. As an example, I have edited some of my size variants to show different prices.
After you have finished editing, click Save in the top right hand corner of the page.
