Keep your customers up to date with what’s happening on your site by running a blog. It is a great source of content, which always helps with your SEO.
The blog section can be found at Content > Blog / News.
The blog index screen is where you can see, at a glance, all the blog posts you currently have written.
The name of each blog post is listed, along with when it was last updated, the author, and its status.
How to add a blog post
On the blog index screen, click + New Post in the top right hand corner of the page
Editing the blog title
The title field is where you can set or amend the name of this blog post. This is also the title of your blog post that will be seen by your website visitors.
Editing the blog content
Add content to your blog post in the Content area.
Here you can enter the content for this blog post, and you can edit how the text looks inside this field. This box contains a spell checker, so you can directly write your blog posts into here if you want to. You can also add links and images here.
Blog visibility
The visibility of each blog post can be changed within the Visibility section. Once a blog post has been published then it is viewable by your customers on your shop. If a customer tries to view a blog post that is not published then they will see a message telling them that the page has not been found.
You can also decide whether you would like a blog post to be published immediately or on a specific date. You can set this post to be in the past, or scheduled for the future.
Setting a featured image
A blog post always looks nicer with a featured image, so use the Image Library button to add one to your blog post.

Reviewing the search engine listing
The Search Engine Listing section is a preview of how your blog post will be displayed on search engines such as Google and Bing. The title and URL fields will be automatically filled in.
For the description field write a very short paragraph (less than 200 characters) quickly explaining what this post it about. It’s usually best to fill out this field once you’ve completed writing your blog post, that way you’ll have a clearer understand of what your post is about.
Press Save once complete, and your blog will be updated.
How to edit an existing blog post
To edit an existing post, click the blog title on the blog index page.
Deleting a blog post
To delete a blog post, select the one you wish to delete and press Delete Post in the lower right of the editing screen.
