Installing the Plugin

Getting started with the 'Compare Products' plugin is a simple! Follow these steps:

1. Download and install the plugin:

   • Find Compare Products.
     
     

Using the Plugin

After activating the plugin, you'll see it in action on your website's front page. Here’s how to use it:

1. Selecting Products to Compare:

   • On the front page, you’ll notice a new checkbox feature next to each product listing.
   • Click on the checkboxes for the products you want to compare.
     
     
     
     

1. View Comparison Tray:

   • Once you select the products you want to compare, you will see a 'Compare Products' button at the bottom left of the page. Click on the 'Compare Products' box and a comparison tray will pop open.
   • The tray displays all the relevant specifications of the selected products side by side, making it easier to evaluate their features.
     
     
     
     

2. Interacting with the Comparison Tray:

   • You can easily remove products from the comparison tray by clicking the 'X' next to any product.
   • Want to add more products? Simply select additional checkboxes, and they’ll be added to the comparison tray automatically.

Customising the Plugin

1. Access Plugin Settings:

2. Customise Branding Colours:

   • You’ll find options to change the branding colours.
   • Select the colours that best match your brand’s style. You can also change labels, the Tray animation speed, the tray height and if you want to show the Add To Basket button.
     
     
     
     

3. Save and Apply Changes:

   • After customising, click 'Save'.
   • Your changes will be applied immediately, and you can see the new colours reflected on the front page.
